Phase I culminated in a capacity-building workshop for officials dealing with investment promotion. Other than navigating barriers to trade, our counsel is focused on strengthening risk management and enhancing internal capacity to boost trade and investment promotion and future-proof policies. This involves working not just with government stakeholders but across the value chain with smallholders, cooperatives, traders and enterprises to identify critical gaps and needs to better inform policy making.
