I used it to offer audiobooks to my phone for example. Partial sync is the last main benefit I see in Resilio. It is for sure a limited use case where this makes sense, but I still appreciated and used it. I also liked having the ability to build a sync network with encrypted seeders. Especially with big sync folders and clients that have not been updated in quite a while, syncthing will take a long time to be in sync.
Atleast with the stuff that I sync and my setups, I must say, that resilio was much faster in getting everything back to sync. I have switched from resilio to syncthing like a year ago. I get that it is not open source and yes, that is a negative, but that does not explain peoples stance on the software. I also have read so much negativity about resilio, without actual justification and reasons behind it.
